My Story

For 32½ years, I worked long, demanding hours as a heavy equipment operator for the public road department — plowing snow in the winter, laying asphalt in the summer heat, and being on call year-round. I missed countless family moments, lived paycheck to paycheck, and often found myself daydreaming about a better life.

In July 2020, I retired after 32 years of service. That moment gave me the chance to finally pursue the dream I had carried with me all along: creating a family-run online business built on freedom, purpose, and more time with the people I love.
